The Silk Scarf Shop is a new addition to my creative portfolio.

 

Original watercolours, photographed in microscopic detail, are the basis of these portfolios. The fluid qualities of silk are a perfect canvas for watercolour exploration.

Each design represents a moment of an artwork in progress - the luminosity of wet layered colour as pigment and watercolour interact on paper. These compositions investigate ephemeral themes and rhythms of graffiti.

​

Themes and designs for the scarves are evolved from an eclectic mix of inspiration sources close to my own heart, from music in the studio, to nature and organic structure.
